Korey comes from a performance background, where he holds a Bachelor's in Contemporary and Applied Theatre. He was first introduced to Dungeons and Dragons around 5 years ago and enjoyed being a player, but his interest in worldbuilding and character development led him into becoming a Dungeon Master. His style is rooted in creative storytelling and his years spent facilitating and devising in the theatre world, which creates an engaging and oftentimes freeform experience. Despite this light-hearted exterior, the themes of Korey’s games are rooted in the grim, the macabre and the unfathomable. Inspired by stories of eldritch entities, grotesque body horror and worlds beyond salvation, there is always a common underlying theme in his stories: the human condition and its inevitable path towards darkness.
